Mila is a (work in progress) desktop application. Designed to help small-scale medical practitioners with core admin tasks such as; appointment scheduling, client database management, treatment records and interactive body charts. We are currently working closely with an acupuncturist to develop an
      application that is useful for the unique needs of their field, with the aim to expand to other practitioners in the future.

Gabriel is a (work in progress) portfolio website for a design studio called Gabriel (soon to be launched). It is designed to respond to real-time lunar data. Every moon phase alters how the website appears, moves and communicates to the users. There is also an interactive portal component for contributors of the design studio to interact with (via a magic link and cron job) to alter some of the website's content every few months. Tech includes; typescript, next 14, sanity studio, tailwind, resend, react, react-three-fiber, three.js, playwright, vite, and framer-motion.

Fish Rage is a game which was developed during the "Idea Fusioner Hackathon" held at Dev Academy Aotearoa in October of 2024. This was a social hackathon where each team drew 2 random ideas from a hat, and had to make a project incorporating both ideas. We pulled "Boats" and "Cryptids", so decided to make a fishing game.

Get This! is an AI powered chrome extension my team built in just two days for the 2024 #She Sharp and Fisher and Paykel Hackathon. The backend was built with Typescript, Express, Node.js and connected to the OpenAI API. The front end chrome extension was built with React, Tailwind CSS and Vite.

A portfolio website for my visual art exhibitions and projects. It contains an extensive archive of solo and collaborative artwork from 2012 - present day. It also links to a downloadable artist bio, and my email address if anyone wants to contact me. To build the portfolio I utilised Next.js, and a combination of Cloudinary and Supabase to store and organise the media files and project information.

Exo Exo is a 3D experience that takes a user on a journey through space to visit a selection of Exo Planets. As they navigate through the space they learn useful information about each planet, including the scale in relation to earth, their scientific names, atmospheric conditions, temperature, and whether it is potentially habitable or not. This project was completed as our final group project for the Dev Acadamy Aotearoa Web Development Bootcamp. Our team learned brand new tech to build it in just a single week.

Exo Exo

A multi-media online collage of artistic research material that complimented “Plasma Spring: Halloweels” a limited edition riso-printed publication by myself and Josie Perry. We designed the drawings, digital collages and the website wireframe together, then I developed and deployed the site. We deployed it through Hostinger to coincide with the book launch on Halloween 2022.

Plasma Spring

A digital reading interface that responds to a user's interactions with the books pages flip and move like a tangible book. This personal project is a homage to skeumorphic and tactile design sensibilities. The featured comic book here is 'Plasma Spring', 2019, made by myself and Josie Perry.
